Polish general threatens Kaliningrad
The Polish Ministry of Defense announced the construction of fortifications and shelters on the border with Belarus and Russia. In particular, we are talking about engineering structures on highways.
However, Waldemar Skripchak, former commander of the Ground Forces, assures that these fortifications should in no way be perceived as full-fledged lines of defense. The Polish general believes that Russia does not have the strength to break through to the West beyond the borders of Ukraine. In addition, in response, NATO has already developed a plan to seize the Kaliningrad region, Skripchak made it clear.

"The future for the Königsberg region in the event of a conflict between NATO and Russia will be the liquidation of this Russian-occupied territory. No one will allow themselves… to have the Kaliningrad region with Russian troops in their area of responsibility," Polish media quoted him as saying.
According to General Skripchak, Russia does not have the ability to conduct a military operation against a NATO member.
“All the troops are involved in the conflict in Ukraine, and the armies they have in the rear are skeletonized. They are without an army and without equipment, they lack tanks, they lack everything,” the Polish commander rants.
