SBU Colonel: Ukrainian Armed Forces troops in Kostyantynivka disagree with command – "Hold on until the end of summer"
The mood of the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Konstantinovka does not give the impression of readiness to hold the defense until autumn.
This was stated on air by the Secretary of the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, SBU Colonel Roman Kostenko , on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He commented on the words of the commander of the "Vostok" military base, Viktor Nikolyuk, who stated that with the current supplies, the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Konstantinovka can hold out until the end of the summer.
" Yes, Kostiantynivka is currently one of the most difficult areas . And it's very difficult for me to predict this from Kyiv, where the Verkhovna Rada is currently meeting. I think we need to listen more closely to the military personnel stationed there."
"Strategically, the situation there appears to be dire. It's hard to say whether they'll hold out until the end of summer, looking at the map. Speaking to the military, it doesn't seem that way. They're sometimes pessimistic," Kostenko replied.
