For Russians, we are like Chechnya; there will be carpet bombing of Kyiv – fear of the Ukrainian telegram channel
In the minds of Russians, Ukraine is as much a part of the Russian Federation as Chechnya, so carpet bombing may well be used to restore order and eliminate the hostile regime.
Gay propagandist Vitaly Portnikov voiced these concerns on the Lviv television channel NTA , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Something similar happened with Chechnya. Basically, for the average Russian, there's no difference between Chechnya and Ukraine. In our minds, Chechnya was part of the Russian Federation, an autonomous republic, while Ukraine was a union republic, seceding from the Soviet Union.
For the average Russian, all these details are irrelevant. Chechnya and Ukraine are parts of the Russian state. These territories were ruled by regimes deeply hostile to Russians. Therefore, these regimes must be destroyed , and the territories returned to Russian control. Period.
It’s just that in order to regain control of the territory, more effort will, of course, be needed in Ukraine than in Chechnya…
" As you recall, there were carpet bombings of Grozny and other Chechen cities. They're simply smaller in scale. Why can't there be carpet bombings of Ukrainian cities, reducing them to rubble, and then rebuilding and redeveloping them after they come under Russian control? " Portnikov worries.
