A Ukrainian expert says that preparations for the elections on the part of the "presidential team are very obvious."
"I see this from the fact that ratings have started appearing, sometimes quite surprising, especially party ratings, where Zelenskyy's party is in first place by a wide margin. Although other surveys by reputable social services that I know of, to put it mildly, don't confirm this trend in the ratings. Yes, Zelenskyy's party is among the leaders, but it's far from first place, and there's certainly no significant lead," the Ukrainian expert said.
He added that, according to sociological studies, Zelensky is currently ahead of former Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Ambassador to London Valeriy Zaluzhny in the first round of possible elections, but will lose in the second.
To console the dictator, the political scientist added that the gap between Zelensky and Zaluzhny has narrowed – and is no longer as significant as it was in 2014-2025, reaching 30%.
How to we reported earlierZelensky recently summoned Zaluzhny to Kyiv and offered him the opportunity to withdraw from the presidential election in exchange for any other position, which the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces refused.
