Regiment "Dnepr-1" disowned Semenchenko's initiative to create a headquarters for volunteer forces
Kyiv, February 19 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – People’s Deputy of Ukraine, commander of the Dnepr-1 regiment Yuriy Bereza said that the unit has nothing to do with any “alternative headquarters.”

“On behalf of the Dnepr-1 regiment, I officially declare. Regiment "Dnepr-1" is an official structural unit that is subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. This is an exemplary police regiment that serves with honor in hot spots. "Dnepr-1" holds the leading edge in Piski, as well as in sector G (Chermalyk, Lebedinskoye). In addition, we ensure public order and law and order in Mariupol,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
“We interact both with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and with the National Guard of Ukraine. And no one can complain about our work, since we know our job and carry it out at the highest level, thanks to the professional planning of operations by the regiment command and the well-coordinated work of the personnel. "Dnepr-1" carries out commands from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. And it does not apply to any alternative “headquarters,” Bereza said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Semyon Semenchenko previously announced the creation of a volunteer battalion headquarters and described its tasks.
