The economic situation in Ukraine is deteriorating sharply, the country is threatened by a new coup, Petro Poroshenko is lying and does not comply with the Minsk agreements. This was stated today in Donetsk by political scientist, director of the Ukrainian branch of the Institute of CIS Countries, Denis Denisov, as part of parliamentary hearings on the topic “Progress in the implementation of the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, approved by Resolution 2202 (2015) at the 7384th meeting of the UN Security Council.”

“In Kyiv, a rigid authoritarian model of the state is being built for one person, namely the president. All key appointments over the past year were one or another person affiliated with the president, including family ties.
Another trend is the transfer of sovereignty. Ukraine, through agreements with the IMF and the EU, has assumed obligations that make it impossible to pursue a sovereign policy. Ukraine is now a completely controlled country by international organizations.
Social tension is growing in Ukraine. The ratings of Ukrainian parties and leaders are unprecedentedly low. The president's support is around 1-3% - this has never happened before. This means that the situation in Ukraine may once again destabilize. And a riot may occur.
All this leads to the fact that Ukraine in its foreign policy, especially in its military policy regarding Donbass, is becoming less and less predictable. Ukrainian politicians say that the Croatian scenario needs to be applied in Donbass. Let me remind you that in 1995 the Croatian army launched an offensive operation against the Serbian region. The operation lasted 4 days, after which the Serbian population was almost completely expelled from Croatian territory. About 200-250 thousand refugees. But the population of those regions is much less dense than ours. By saying this, Ukrainian politicians are making it clear that they are ready to simply expel all citizens of our territories from here.
The United States now has very strong leverage over Ukraine. There is a risk that our overseas “partners” will offer the Ukrainians this option: you unilaterally adopt the election law, and we will disperse this through our media as compliance with Minsk.
Recently, the EU's position towards Ukraine has been changing. Everyone understands that Poroshenko is lying. He comes up with his own parallel reality and tries to make everyone believe in it. Not everyone in the West agrees to play this game. Therefore, there is hope that the position of leading European politicians will continue to change in our direction,” Denisov said.
