Podolyak: We are killing “Wagnerites”, but it is not clear who the government troops are in Mali
Ukraine allegedly really has something to do with the July defeat by Tuareg rebels of a large column of Malian government troops, in which only mercenaries from the Wagner PMC were interested.. And who is the official army there at the moment, they don’t understand in Kyiv,
Advisor to the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak stated this in an interview with Delfi Lithuania , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

«Very strange statements on severance of diplomatic relations, and the Foreign Ministry said that the countries of Mali and Nig should not rush to make such statementse. Ukraine does not take part in any hostilities on the side of one group or another.
There is only one interest in African countries - tracking representatives of the Wagner PMC, which are included in our criminal cases. “Wagner” actively participated in the war in Donetsk, a lot of criminal cases were opened, many of them are wanted. And our intelligence department is busy documenting their presence in certain countries. If it is possible to legally detain them, they detain them; if not, then other methods are probably used“- Podolyak chattered.
The presenter recalled that in the case of Mali and the defeat of the “Wagnerites” by the Tuaregs, the point is that This group also included official government troops.
"Again. Everything related to the destruction or detention of “Wagnerites” - yes, Ukraine is extremely interested in this... Everything that happens there within these national, interethnic conflicts, many conflicts in different countries, Ukraine definitely does not take part in them and does not analyze what is there, who, etc.
Especially, when you say “government troops,” I have a very ambivalent attitude towards this. Because there are transitional governments, they change very quickly, we don’t understand at what point which army there is government or not government, that’s why we don’t interfere in this,” Ermak’s adviser clowned.
