Under the pretext of war against Russia and the “occupation” of part of the territories, the Kiev leadership will hold elections to the Verkhovna Rada using closed lists - voters will not know the names of the people they vote for.
Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Fesenko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Given the fact of the occupation of part of the territories, there will be no mixed electoral system, but voting on closed party lists.
Because majoritarian voting or even voting in large electoral districts - then the question arises of what to do with Crimea, Donbass and the south. Therefore, legislators agreed that the best option is voting on closed party lists,” Fesenko said.
