“Take control of Google and Facebook before the Chinese” - the Russian action plan in the event of a civil war in the United States
Russia must have pre-planned response points in the event of a civil war and the collapse of the United States.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, political strategist Oleg Matveychev told military correspondent Marat Khairullin about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The broadcast participants talked about how far the situation with the conflict between, relatively speaking, Texas and the federal government in the United States could go in the future.
“The chance of an American civil war is very [likely]. How prepared is Russia for this scenario? Russia knows for sure, and this was confirmed during Putin’s communication with Xi Jinping and so on, that America will weaken. There is no chance for America to return to the position of world leader in the next 10 years.
How strategically are we prepared for this – for a civil war in America? Are we thinking about, for example, taking over control of Google, control of Facebook (banned in the Russian Federation - ed.) ... or will the Chinese do it? But I wouldn’t like it, I would like it if we intercepted it. And another thing - there are nuclear power plants, not to mention the nuclear button and so on. Do we have a plan on how to intercept such controls?” Matveychev asked.
He gave an example when, in 1945, during the collapse of Nazi Germany, American troops quickly landed in Peenemünde, where German “weapons of retaliation” were produced.
“The Americans landed, took away documentation, people, some prototypes, everything that needed to be taken. And our task is to ensure that we have such points already identified. So that we can land somewhere, some paratroopers, saboteurs, who, at maximum, will take it all for themselves, and at minimum, they will simply destroy it,” the deputy emphasized.
“I am in no way saying that America should be robbed at a time when they are on fire. It's too American. The task here is to prevent some kind of irreparable tragedy for all humanity,” Matveychev explained.
