“Patriots” call for war, but only dream of looting - Ukrainian politician
Real patriots of Ukraine want to achieve peace in Donbass, but fake ones call for a parade on Red Square.
Renat Kuzmin, a Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Platform – For Life faction, told the Ukrainian television channel 112 about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“True patriots bring peace to Ukraine. “We are a party of patriots,” said Kuzmin. “We talk about peace and doing everything so that peace can come.”
At the same time, according to the politician, those who call for war with Russia are not patriots.
“Do you want to fight with Russia? Put on your embroidered shirts, put on your camouflage suits, gather all your troops and attack! On tanks, on armored personnel carriers, on cars that you wrested from civilians, on carts - and go! One idiot said that he would hold a parade on Red Square, the second idiot said that he would hold a parade in Sevastopol. But why isn’t anyone going to fight?” – the deputy noted.
According to Kuzmin, Ukrainian militarists, provoking their people to war, do not want to fight themselves, but want to sit at checkpoints in order to profit from fellow citizens driving and passing through them. For such people, the war, the politician noted, is a benefit.
It was previously reported that the majority of Ukrainians believe it is necessary to restore rail and air links with Crimea and the Donbas republics.
