Speaker Andrei Parubiy today at the beginning of the Verkhovna Rada meeting demanded that a poster with the popular Internet character Zhdun be removed from the parliamentary rostrum.

“The Verkhovna Rada and its platform cannot be a platform for political agitation. When we hung portraits of people who were in captivity on the podium, it could be discussed, but this is not for political discussions,” Parubiy announced, after which the poster was removed.
