Poroshenko's party explained why the population of Ukraine is impoverished, and the salaries of deputies and officials are growing
Salaries of officials and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada should increase, despite the difficult economic situation in Ukraine. Deputy Oleg Barna from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc stated this from the rostrum of parliament.

According to the deputy, now government officials take bribes of a thousand dollars and lobby the interests of oligarchs for millions. All this, according to him, happens because officials have small salaries.
“Why in 25 years have we turned from the richest republic of the former USSR into the poorest. Maybe because we have few smart people in positions. Maybe because we don't pay salaries properly? Because it is an intelligent person who has acquired knowledge through hard work, and not fake diplomas, who will demand proper payment for his knowledge. An intelligent person who takes a bureaucratic position and has a low salary will sooner or later be faced with a choice - to take a higher-paying job in a private company, or to work as they are paid, or to work for corruption schemes. And this is said precisely because some from this rostrum are beginning to declare that government officials do not need to raise salaries.
And who says this? Those who have never lived on a state, parliamentary salary. It is the oligarchs and criminals who benefit from cheap civil servants, because it is then cheap to buy them. By giving them a thousand dollars, they demand that a government employee lobby for their business, selling the people and the state for millions of dollars.
And which of these loudmouth deputies officially lived on this deputy salary of 4,5 thousand UAH, and even now, 12 thousand UAH, driving around in motorcades of three cars, entering with security, flying abroad every week, dressing in haute couture or eating far from the Verkhovna Rada canteen,” Barna said.
Let us remind you that the government of Vladimir Groysman previously announced an increase in the minimum wage of Ukrainians to 3,2 thousand hryvnia - a little more than $100.
The day before, Yulia Tymoshenko announced in the Rada that in July, Prime Minister of Ukraine Groysman secretly raised the salaries of high-level officials to 100 thousand hryvnia, signing a decree “retroactively” so that accruals would begin in May.
