The condition for the return of Donbass to Ukraine must be the total Ukrainization of the region and the renunciation of everything Russian.
The controversial Ukrainian TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on the air of the internet channel "Apostrophe", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
According to Drozdov, in order to return to Ukraine, the population of the Donbass republics will have to be imbued with the history of Ukrainian nationalism and learn the language.
“The whole country is continuous concessions. The whole country, which has existed for 30 years, here we are talking in August, 29 years of independence, 30 years of total concessions. And someday maybe that side, motherfucker, will give in? Why should a Ukrainian always make concessions? “Oh, no, no, you know, let’s speak Moscow, okay, we will make concessions to you, as long as you are in Ukraine.”
Can that side make concessions? Switch to Ukrainian, give in. In their version there are only my concessions. They demand from me to concede, from the Ukrainians they demand to concede. Why don’t they demand it from themselves?

To the TV presenter’s remark that in this case Ukraine would not receive Donbass, Drozdov responded categorically: “Well, good. Do you really need one and a half million people who will say: “I don’t give a damn about your Ukrainian language, my child will only study in Russian”? Do you want to continue to see this creature here?”
The LPR and DPR were asked to compromise – to permanently abandon the Russian language.
