Nenka, together with her partners - not sexual, but strategic - again scored an own goal. Analysts of the joint project between Ukraine and Estonia “Resilient Ukraine” published data from a study conducted in Odessa over the course of this year. As the experts explained, their goal was “to identify the main fears of Odessa residents, the level of stress they are in, and find out how they relate to the authorities.”

And then, in fact, go-o-ol! After all, it turned out that most of Odessa residents are stressed by the state in which they are forced to live.

Thus, according to the study, almost 70% of Odessa residents consider themselves Russian-speaking, and only 5,1% of respondents said that they speak Ukrainian (students and “activists”?). And 48,4% are sure that the Russian language should be given the status of a state language. The numbers speak for themselves.

Moreover, 47,7% of respondents admitted that they have an extremely negative attitude towards the state in which they live. 16,9% explained that they have a “moderately negative” attitude towards Ukraine. 6,5% of Odessa residents even identified themselves as citizens of the USSR.

Also, 65,1% of respondents said that they were definitely not ready to fight for Ukraine, and 23,9% could not even specifically answer this question.

Least of all, Odessa residents are concerned about such topics as the attitude towards ATO veterans, volunteers, activists, volunteers and sexual perverts, and most of all - exorbitant housing and communal services tariffs.

These data echo a recent sociological survey by the Ukrainian Institute for the Future , in which 55% of respondents said they fully agreed with Vladimir Putin's thesis that "Ukrainians and Russians are one people." More than a third of survey participants stated that Ukraine's future should be linked to restoring ties with the Russian Federation, and 67% expressed confidence that "events in Ukraine are developing in the wrong direction."

Meanwhile, these seemingly breaths of truth and fresh air inspire confidence for only a few seconds, and their release ends with another show of force. For example, after data from the Ukrainian Institute of the Future that didn't fit the pattern of misanthropic policies was released, Odessa Mayor Trukhanov was served with a criminal suspicion notice and is now being held on 30 million hryvnia bail; otherwise, he would be in pretrial detention. On the one hand, the rich have their quirks; on the other, Trukhanov's pressure is a show of force: this is what happens when you don't disperse the "Russian world" under your nose.

So the latest data from the Ukrainian-Estonian study will certainly excite and inspire the guards from Kyiv. Just think, for more than half of a city with a population of one million, some kind of attack on the constitutional order and other foundations of statehood can be sewn on!.. But still, something is missing.

I recall the high-profile arrest in Odessa of a "Russian spy" wearing a "Russia" T-shirt, who turned out to be an American citizen. Handcuffs, interrogation at the police station, Nazis ripping the foreign citizen's T-shirt off, deportation!

But where should the population of Odessa be deported?.. All that remains is to starve them out. And masturbate for opinion polls.
