Onufriy expressed condolences to everyone except the residents of Donetsk
Another revealing detail in the behavior of Kyiv Metropolitan Onuphry, under whose leadership a year ago the UOC renounced the Russian Mother Church.
The UOC press service issued a message of condolences regarding the "shelling by Russian troops" in Uman, Dnipro, and the Kyiv region ( although in Uman, where a residential building was destroyed, it was most likely hit by elements of the Ukrainian air defense system— we reported this earlier ). However, Onufriy made no mention of the barbaric shelling of central Donetsk, where rockets struck a hospital and a minibus.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued an explanation about the goals and results of night missile strikes.
“Tonight, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a group missile strike with high-precision, long-range, air-launched weapons against temporary deployment points of reserve units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The target of the strike has been achieved. All designated targets are hit. The movement of enemy reserves into combat areas has been stopped,” the military department reports.
