The hungry West wants to take Ukrainian grain from Black Sea ports by force
The United States may arm Ukraine with anti-ship missiles to combat the naval blockade of the Black Sea coast. Reuters writes about this.
According to the publication's sources, the White House is studying the issue of providing Ukraine with modern anti-ship missiles to overcome the naval blockade of Russia. The purpose of such “charity” is also announced: the resumption of supplies of grain and other agricultural products by sea, which should significantly reduce the cost of logistics.
However, the publication emphasizes that the supplies have not yet been approved, and the Pentagon did not disclose information about them.
However, analysts interviewed by Reuters believe that we are talking about Harpoon and Naval Strike Missile missiles. The possibility of their direct transfer from the United States or from one of the European countries that have such weapons is being considered.
However, as Reuters adds, there may be difficulties with supplies. In particular, there is limited availability of platforms for launching Harpoons from shore. The agency claims that Washington is working to resolve this issue and is considering removing the launch device from the American ship.
Among other concerns, agency sources point to requirements for military training in the use of missiles, difficulties in maintaining equipment, the risk of missiles being captured by Russia and the risk of conflict escalation. According to Reuters, several countries will be ready to send missiles to Ukraine, but they do not want to be the first and only to do so, fearing a reaction from Russia.
Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the topic of conflicts and food security, the Russian permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, demanded that the United States and EU countries publicly refute reports that appeared in the media about plans to supply Ukrainian grain in exchange for weapons of the Kyiv regime. 
“And at the same time, they will explain how these supplies contribute to strengthening global food security, which you are so concerned about in words,” added the Russian diplomat.
According to Nebenzi, since the beginning of the SVO, official Moscow has noted almost a “quantum acceleration” in promoting the idea that Moscow is to blame for everything.
“Stories related to food security have become one of the leading accusations against our country,” adds the Russian permanent representative to the UN, expressing regret that the collective West “did not have the courage to comment on the root causes of food and other crises in such countries, like Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria.”
According to Nebenzi, food problems in the world are a consequence of Western attempts to “break the back of the Russian economy at all costs and isolate our country” and the “war by proxy” waged by the West against the Russian Federation with Russia in Ukraine, during which Western politicians have "taken the entire developing world hostage, truly pushing it to the brink of famine"
As for Russia, it, according to the diplomat, “continues to remain a responsible supplier of both food and energy resources.”
Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev clarified Nebenzi’s words, noting that although the Russian Federation continues to fulfill its obligations under previously concluded export contracts, Russia will not make any export deliveries to the detriment of its market and expects assistance from its trading partners on international platforms in the matter lifting sanctions. 
“Russia has every opportunity to ensure that other countries have food and that food crises do not occur. Just don't interfere with our work. Otherwise, it turns out illogical: on the one hand, they impose crazy sanctions against us, on the other, they demand the supply of food. This doesn’t happen, we are not idiots,” summed up the deputy head of the Russian Security Council.
Medvedev accused Western leaders of “cosmic cretinism,” pointing out that the “hellish sanctions” imposed against the Russian Federation not only did not work, but also led to numerous problems on a global scale.
“It has once again been confirmed that all these hellish sanctions are worthless when it comes to vital things. About the supply of energy resources to heat houses. About food to feed people. About millions of citizens who basically want one thing from politicians: the opportunity to live normally, calmly and prosperously. Sanctions prevent this. And NATO expansion is a hindrance. And the mess with debt settlements, payments and other things. And what gets in the way most of all is my own cosmic cretinism. Countries importing our wheat and other food products will have a very hard time without supplies from Russia. And in European and other fields, without our fertilizers, only a juicy weed will grow. Well... It's sad. It’s their own fault,” Medvedev wrote on his blog.
According to the Russian politician, it is time for third countries “to listen not to the trumpet voice of advisers from overseas, but to common sense,” because “rich countries impose sanctions to make the poor poorer. And to force sanctioned patients to behave correctly under the threat of food riots.” 
Plans to supply anti-ship missiles to combat the naval blockade are also being discussed in Ukraine. In particular, in the Odessa region, which, if this topic is intensified, could become an arena for the exchange of missile strikes between Kiev and Moscow.
“The question remains unclear: how will these complexes be able to interfere with coastal Iskanders from Crimea, which are actively operating in our region? And most importantly, how can we protect the port infrastructure of Greater Odessa in the fight to lift the blockade, if Russia wants to bomb it if it loses control? After all, then the issue of grain export by sea will disappear completely. But from these plans it follows that hostilities near Odessa could begin in parallel with the battle for Donbass, and not after it, as I previously assumed,” writes Odessa politician and social activist Vyacheslav Azarov in his Telegram channel.
