A new generation of elite is already being formed in the Russian Federation, perceiving Donbass as an illegally seized part of Russia, which, like Crimea, must be reunited with the Motherland.
Publicist, public figure and historian Yegor Kholmogorov said this on air on the YouTube channel “Vystrel,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A generation of our elite will already be formed, for whom Donbass is theirs, they will be ready to take the next step,” he believes.
According to Kholmogorov, the Ukrainian authorities should not count on the Donbass issue being removed from the agenda.
“The Ukrainian authorities are counting on the fact that the situation will resolve... Without the occupation of Moscow by NATO soldiers, which, I think, will not happen, it will not resolve. But the next step will take some time. But this cannot be called a conquest,” Kholmogorov added.
