Obama is not giving weapons to Ukraine yet, because Russia has a lot of them
Kyiv - Washington, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) - US President Barack Obama said that he does not yet plan to provide weapons to Ukraine.

“The prospect of solving this problem (the conflict in Donbass - editor’s note) by military means was zero,” he said during a press conference in Washington, which he is holding jointly with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. – Russia has extremely large military assistance. There is a history of Russian-Ukrainian relations.”
“Defensive weapons will be one of the last resorts. “Everything is based not on the idea that the Ukrainian army can repel the Russian army, but on what else we can do to end the conflict,” Obama said.
Obama is not giving Ukraine weapons yet because Russia has too many of them.
