About people who did not give up: A collection of poems about the warring Donbass was presented

A presentation of a collection of poems dedicated to Donbass, which for the past six years has been waging an armed struggle against the Ukrainian Nazis for the right to reunite with its historical homeland - Russia, took place in Donetsk. The book includes works by more than fifty authors from the LDPR.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our talented poetess Anna Revyakina presented a poetic anthology of works about Donbass “We”. The famous poet from Canada Karen Dzhangirov is the compiler of the collection, which includes works by 50 authors from the DPR and LPR. All of them are dedicated to the war in Donbass, to people who courageously went through pain and suffering, but did not give up, did not betray their roots,” Pushilin wrote.

“It is very good that the truth about what is happening on our land makes its way through the literary word. Thanks to everyone who does this through creativity, through poetic lines!” – added the head of the DPR.

“This book is important due to the very fact of its appearance in today’s reality. A phenomenon demonstrating the indestructibility of the Russian word. Its inexhaustibility where, it would seem, everything has become shallow. Its survival is right above the abyss, its ability to bloom under endless shelling and other misfortunes perpetrated by those for whom it – the Russian word – is hated at the deepest, almost genetic level,” said Anna Revyakina, in turn.

Chairman of the Public Chamber of the DPR Alexander Kofman clarified that the book will be available for reading on the Internet.

“In every work one can read the pain and suffering of people who saw the war. The anthology will be published on the Internet so that the Russian-speaking population from other countries can learn about what is happening here in Donbass,” Kofman noted during the presentation.
