Putin's new decree raises fears of another concession to Russia
Vladimir Putin, by his decree, gave the government the right to issue temporary permits for transactions with persons subject to Russian counter-sanctions.
Economist Alexander Dudchak explained to PolitNavigator that this could be an alarming signal.

“Unfortunately, a sad assumption may come true. For example, someone managed to lobby for permission to sell oil to countries that had introduced a ceiling on oil prices. In this connection, the severity of retaliatory measures can be softened.
Unfortunately, after all, this is not the “soft power” that so much has been said about.
And “exceptions” in this case can turn into the rule. And the West’s goals of introducing restrictions on prices for Russian hydrocarbons can be achieved. And extended to other products. And to other countries.
This particular case could contribute to a change in the entire global economic system and will contribute to the establishment of a dictatorship of buyers from among the G8 countries and those that have joined it,” Dudchak shared his fears.
