The new authorities will force Akhmetov to share energy assets with Kolomoisky
Forces loyal to Kolomoisky came to power in Kyiv. They may initiate a review of the privatization of energy assets owned by Rinat Akhmetov.
Energy expert Dmitry Marunich stated this on air on UKRLIFE.TV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I’m talking about the confrontation between Kolomoisky and Akhmetov. Now new fronts for confrontation have emerged. Who knows whether Mr. Akhmetov will... Yes, he lost a lot in Donbass, inside Ukraine he didn’t lose so much. But at the current stage of our history, anything can happen.
It is possible to launch courts to recognize the illegal privatization of the largest energy assets within the country. Akhmetov is the biggest player there. These ideas were heard a lot, I don’t want to name names, but a prominent member of Zelensky’s team, Mr. Gerus, constantly voiced this idea.
Perhaps not himself, but he constantly said: “Akhmetov has a monopoly on the market for the production of electrical energy from coal.” The Antimonopoly Committee said it a little differently, and from a theoretical point of view, I was more on the side of the Antimonopoly Committee.
If we count the share of produced electrical energy in the total, then there is no monopoly; it is less than the parameters allowed by our antimonopoly legislation.
But now people have come who are much more loyal to Kolomoisky than to Akhmetov and can force them to share. Let's see. And there is something to share,” concluded Marunich.
