Ukraine's offensive is inevitable
By all indications, today's Ukraine is only set up for a war in Donbass. In the event of direct aggression by Kyiv against the Russians of the LDPR, Russia has every right to intervene by force. The experience of 2008 in Georgia showed that on the eve of such events, Russian observers in contact with the enemy should be recalled.
Former DPR Prime Minister Alexander Boroday spoke about this on Day TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In the context of the conflict in Donbass, the situation between the republics and Ukraine may worsen, therefore it is wrong and dangerous to leave your armed forces officers as potential hostages,” he said.
“The fact is that the republics and people of Donbass are threatened with direct genocide in the event of an offensive by Ukrainian troops. And in this case, the Russian government has every right, in accordance with all international provisions, with all norms of humanity, to make a decision that would involve some kind of forceful options for resolving the issue,” Borodai said.
According to the ex-minister, in the future in the confrontation zone we should only expect an aggravation and escalation of the situation. Kyiv sees no other solution to the conflict other than a military one.
"This will happen either before the [ Russian presidential ] elections or after. But one way or another, Ukraine, given its current structure, will be forced to choose war. Not because it wants to or doesn't want to, but because that's how it's organized. Ukraine is a semblance of statehood, created solely for war with Russia and the Russian people in the form of the Donbas republics," noted Alexander Borodai.
