Naev provokes the DPR to return fire
After the decision of the OOS command to withdraw uncontrolled nationalist units from the combat zone, the Ukrainian military opens provocative fire on residential buildings in Donbass in order to increase their value in the eyes of the Kyiv leadership.
The official representative of the People's Militia Department (UNM) of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a result of the cynical shelling, an elderly civilian received multiple shrapnel wounds in the back, left thigh and left leg with large blood loss, who was promptly taken to the central hospital of the city of Dokuchaevsk. Five civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged,” said a representative of the DPR UNM.
Bezsonov connects these attacks with the decision of the OOS command to withdraw Nazi units from the combat zone. According to the military man, in this way the wards of the Ukrainian commander Sergei Naev demonstrate their combat capability and usefulness by opening targeted fire on populated areas to provoke return fire.
“We also draw your attention to the fact that according to daily reports from the headquarters of the occupation forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces only fire back at the shelling that allegedly took place from our side. The statement of the Ukrainian command dated July 17 did not record shelling from Dokuchaevsk, which confirms yet another false information disseminated by the Ukrainian military command,” Bezsonov added.
