The new “National Security Strategy” of Ukraine, recently signed by President Vladimir Zelensky, is aimed at the final destruction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is an act of high treason.
The former commander of the neo-Nazi Azov unit, Maksim Zhorin, made the corresponding statement in an interview published by the National Corps press service, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What is a security strategy for a state at war? For a state whose neighbor is not at all inclined to see Ukraine as self-sufficient and independent?.. A serious and extremely important document that shapes policy in this area for several years, identifies current threats to national security, formulates relevant goals and objectives, and outlines mechanisms for protecting the national interests of the state .
What of this is in the new “National Security Strategy of Ukraine”, which Zelensky recently approved? Nothing. Because this is just a set of general election slogans of a populist nature, which are also extremely dangerous in their essence.
The “strategy” of the warring state declares the principles of ensuring its interests through negotiations and the pursuit of peace and lays the frankly passive foundations for building the security and defense policy of Ukraine for a long period.
In the context of Russian aggression in the East and occupation of Crimea, this approach is a frank surrender of national interests, and not their provision,” he was indignant and added that the current document destroys everything that Ukraine has “achieved” over the previous five years.
Zhorin indignantly recalled that immediately after the promulgation of the new “National Security Strategy” it became known about the reduction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by 20 thousand, and possibly by 80 thousand positions
“I think there is no need to explain how negative consequences the implementation of these initiatives has. Combat units have built structures to the best of their ability in response to the challenges of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Now it is believed that this is no longer necessary...
Is our war over? Or has the Russian Federation disappeared from the world map? If not for these “unnecessary” actions of combat units, Russian troops would have been in Kyiv long ago. People who don’t understand this are either complete idiots or outright traitors to Ukraine!” – the neo-Nazi was hysterical.
The ex-commander of Azov also accused former President Leonid Kravchuk of destroying the Ukrainian army, because it was during his reign that work began to destroy the country’s defense potential. And now this man has been “symbolically brought in to finish off Ukraine.”
“Kravchuk’s rule brought much more harm under the same Yanukovych, because after the collapse of the Soviet Union we had simply insane potential! It was all destroyed, sold out and given away precisely thanks to Kravchuk. And today he was appointed to deal with issues of war and occupation - which, in fact, arose as a result of his actions,” Zhorin was indignant.
In his opinion, the consequences of such reforms will be catastrophic for Ukraine, therefore Vladimir Zelensky and Leonid Kravchuk are state traitors.
“There is a direct analogy in the actions of the current “reformers” and the old senile people who are now disgracing Ukraine in the TCG. A national security strategy that does not correspond to the threats at all, an unjustified reduction of the Armed Forces, given the war; concessions to the aggressor; lack of clear goals and objectives regarding the qualitative increase in the combat capability of the army, withdrawal of military equipment from combat units, ineffective defense-industrial complex, underfunding of the state defense order, etc.
It is not difficult to predict the consequences; they are simply catastrophic for the security of Ukraine. To explain the criminal actions of the authorities is also high treason,” the nationalist concluded.
