This was announced today by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On February 26, the military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios said that during the conflict in Donbass, more than 500 ATO militants committed suicide.
“If we take into account his statement made earlier about the concealment of the facts of the death of Ukrainian military personnel by local commanders, or that two full-fledged brigades died as a result of the fact that they did not comply with regulations and committed crimes against each other, then we can already conclude that that the numbers are far from true,” LPR Lieutenant Colonel commented on Matios’s words.
Marochko noted that even in Western estimates of Ukrainian losses in the ATO zone, the figure for suicides is much higher.
“Please note that I indicated only open sources that anyone can check. I will not voice our intelligence data now, so as not to be unfounded. Although, I want to assure you that we have this data, and it is even more shocking than the statements of the military prosecutor of Ukraine,” added the representative of the LPR NM.
