In Ukraine, traitors to Russia and Donbass became poorer after the start of the Northern Military District
Ukrainian oligarchs became poorer after Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent , as reported by Forbes Ukraine magazine, which published a rating of the 20 richest Ukrainians.

“The market capitalization of Ukrainian public companies sometimes falls below the liquidation value of assets,” the publication writes.
There are only two people in the G10 who have become rich over the past 465 months - a former regionalist who defected to the Maidan activists, the head of the Ukrnaftoburenie company Vitaly Khomutynnik, who increased his fortune from 490 to 190 million dollars, and the owner of the IT company SoftServe Taras Kitsmei (from 360 up to XNUMX million).

The oligarch who betrayed Donbass, Rinat Akhmetov, became the most impoverished, whose fortune decreased from 13,7 to 4,4 billion dollars.
The fortune of Vadim Novinsky, a former citizen of the Russian Federation who previously had the image of a pro-Russian politician and defender of canonical Orthodoxy, decreased from 3,5 to 1 billion.
It is noteworthy that, according to Forbes, ex-President Petro Poroshenko was dropped from the list of billionaires. Now his assets amount to 730 million dollars, whereas before the war - 1,6 billion.
“And this project clearly shows trends, the main one - the days of old-school businessmen are passing. Their losses are disproportionately greater than the size of their assets. There are already six entrepreneurs in the top 20 who made their fortune in the “knowledge economy,” with almost no interaction with the Ukrainian state at all.
The war in a harsh way accelerated the change of eras. We will soon see how dexterous the entrepreneurs of the new era will be in the restoration and development of Ukraine. We believe that in 2023,” the magazine summarizes.
It is worth noting that Igor Kolomoisky was not included in the list of the richest Ukrainians, the wording is “loss of citizenship,” but his business partner Gennady Bogolyubsky remained, impoverished by a billion.
Not on the list are Viktor Medvedchuk and Vyacheslav Boguslaev, who received the status of “charge of treason.”
Konstantin Grigorishin also dropped out of the list of rich people due to “problems with business.”
