In Ukraine, they stopped keeping records of “thieves in law”
Since the beginning of the year, five “thieves in law” have been expelled from Ukraine; there is no general record of their number in the country, however, according to operational data, there are now between 20 and 30 such criminals, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv, Andrey Krischenko.
“We don’t register them. According to operational data, there are from 20 to 30 people. Since the beginning of the year, the Kyiv police have already expelled 5. I will say that we are initiating punishment for violating the ban on entry into Ukraine. If we give 5-7 years in prison for such offenses, then I think that the number of people who want to break the law will decrease,” he noted in an interview with UNN.
Let us remind you that the day before, the capital’s National Police headquarters reported the detention and then expulsion from Ukraine of thief in law “Tengo Pitersky”.
This was his third detention on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, in December 2016 and April 2017, he was already detained by police, and by the decision of the State Migration Service “Tengo Galsky” he was expelled from the country.
On April 14, the SBU reported the detention and expulsion from Ukraine of another thief in law, Irakli Khutu.
And in March of this year, a thief in law nicknamed “Professor” was detained and expelled. Moreover, this was his second detention in the last six months.
In February, according to the GUNP in Kyiv, a thief in law, “Gega Ozurgetsky,” was detained and expelled in the capital. However, earlier, in June 2016, he was already detained once by Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
