The head of the People's Militia of the LPR, Mikhail Filiponenko, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, on January 8, in the Popasna area, a serviceman of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after drinking alcohol, fired a mortar at the fields adjacent to the populated area.
According to local residents, the shooting began at 19.00 local time.
After the first shots, many residents left their homes and went down to the basements. By a lucky coincidence, no one was hurt,” said Mikhail Filiponenko.
