In a number of settlements in the territory of the Donetsk region occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, engineering and sapper units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out mining of civilian infrastructure facilities with the aim of undermining them and further blaming the DPR Armed Forces for this.

Official representative of the DPR defense department Eduard Basurin announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The implementation of these works has been confirmed in the settlements of Volnovakha, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka, Avdeevka, Dzerzhinsk and Svetlodarsk. Ukrainian sappers are planting land mines near water and gas pipelines, power plants and power line supports,” noted Eduard Basurin.
The DPR does not rule out the possibility of further undermining these facilities and attempts to blame the Army of the Republic for this.
“It is possible that the command of the so-called ATO is preparing to blow up these facilities in order to accuse the DPR Armed Forces of shelling vital civilian facilities and discredit the leadership of the Republic in the eyes of the world community during negotiations at the international level,” he emphasized.
