In the Ukrainian-controlled part of Luhansk Oblast, 70% of "marriages in a day" are concluded by couples from the LPR, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported by the head of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in the Lugansk region, Tatyana Filatova, writes the local publication Sxid-info.
According to her, such a service as the pilot project “Marriage in a day” is actively in demand. In just 4 months of this year, 730 marriages were registered in the Lugansk region. Four times fewer married couples (4) broke up their marriages. That is, the trend is positive.
“The pilot project “Marriage in a Day” is especially in demand. In two departments that carry out marriage registration on a daily basis (these are Stanichno-Lugansk and Lugansk city departments of state registration of acts of civil status in Severodonetsk), 95% of the total number of people used this service. And in total in the region “in the pilot” there are 41% of marriages per day,” said Filatova.
At the same time, she noted that according to statistics, the “Marriage in a Day” service is actively used by people from uncontrolled territory. This number is up to 70% among married couples.
