According to her, the hryvnia exchange rate was artificially collapsed in collusion with the National Bank.

“At the lower level, the hucksters who guessed right made money, and at the upper level, our juntas made money, who knew perfectly well when exactly Gontareva would collapse the hryvnia, and when she would raise it a little. So they earned billions. And a host of people who did not calculate the exchange rate were ruined. Of course, they acted in collusion and planned the collapse in advance,” Montyan said.
