Opinion: Russian law enforcement officers have every reason to begin inspections of Alfa Bank

“I think that after such a “frank” statement from Alfa Bank, Russian law enforcement agencies have every reason to conduct thorough checks of the bank’s activities on the territory of the Russian Federation for compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
In the event that, based on the results of the audit, it is revealed that the decision of the President of the Russian Federation on the official recognition of DPR-LPR documents is not fulfilled by this bank, there is every reason to apply to it all measures provided for by law, up to and including an inspection by the Central Bank,” the expert said.
