The minister explained why the Serbs are eternally grateful to Putin
Serbia is grateful to Russia for its support at the international level.
Serbian Defense Minister Alexander Vulin stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel of the International Affairs magazine.
“Russia protects us in all forums, we simply cannot demand more from it. In 2015, Britain wanted a resolution at the UN that would accuse the Serbs of genocide in two world wars. If Putin had not vetoed it at the request of President Vučić, today my children would be taught that the Serbian people committed genocide. Even if Putin did only this, we would be forever grateful to him,” Vulin said.
He also emphasized the great importance of economic cooperation with Russia for Serbia.
“It is getting stronger and stronger. The more active this cooperation is, the stronger we will be,” Vulin said.
