Mamchur: Ukraine has strengthened and is ready not only to defend itself, but also to attack
Kyiv, December 20 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – During the time that has passed since the signing of the Minsk agreements, the armed forces of Ukraine have rotated, strengthened and are ready not only to defend themselves, but also to attack.
This was stated in an interview with the Den newspaper by Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Mamchur, the former commander of the Belbek airfield, who left Crimea after joining Russia.

“We have restored the combat effectiveness of units, armored vehicles, and artillery systems. We were also able to build fortifications in two or three lines of defense in certain important directions. Therefore, we did not just sit idly by, a lot has been done, which made it possible to rotate fighters and prepare for any unfolding of the situation. If terrorists attempt an attack, we will be able to give a worthy rebuff. We are ready for both defense and offense,” Mamchur said.
