Lyashko had to make excuses to Shuster for his love for Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko deserved congratulations for his election victory until he began using force against protesters.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and controversial leader of the Radical Party, Oleh Lyashko, announced this on air on the Ukraine TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“A thousand kilometers of common border. When someone says what we must do to prevent Belarus from jumping over to the Russian magnet, it has already jumped over. Look where Lukashenko is visiting – to Sochi, to Putin. I received a loan, received military support, I received everything.
Foreign Minister Kuleba, whom I remember as a wonderful diplomat in PACE, is sitting in your studio. Dmitry, I want to tell you, you have absolutely failed in foreign policy. It was because of your inadequate, untimely reaction that we actually completely pushed Lukashenko towards Putin…” said Lyashko.
“Oleg Valerievich, you congratulated Lukashenko! Error? And the Foreign Ministry could make a mistake,” TV presenter Savik Shuster interrupted the politician.
“I admitted this mistake. I congratulated Lukashenko immediately after the elections. But when I saw how people were being dispersed there and the bloodshed, I publicly apologized and withdrew my congratulations,” the “radical” began to justify himself.
“I believe that the economic policy pursued by Lukashenko in Belarus is the right policy. Look how many Belarusian goods are sold in Ukraine, starting from Belarusian tractors, gasoline and everything else. And the GDP in Belarus is twice as large as the GDP in Ukraine.
But the fact that they disperse people there and kill people for the sake of power is a crime, and we do not support this, because no government is worth killing people or depriving them of their freedom,” Oleg Lyashko ranted.
Lyashko's party lost the parliamentary elections, but his secret sponsor, oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, continues to advertise the political force on his television channels with the expectation of revenge.
