Lviv women are generally ready to join the "language" Gestapo
Against the backdrop of the introduction of language patrols in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv residents were asked: "Would you agree to be a language inspector in Lviv?" The survey was conducted by the local television channel NTA, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Yes. I believe the Russian language shouldn't be present in Ukraine at any percentage ; it's unacceptable. Throughout history, how much has Russia exterminated us—our language, our culture— and yet there still exist Moscow Patriarchates and some Russian-speaking Ukrainians?" said one of the respondents.

"I think so. Because so many people in Lviv speak Russian, and it's so unpleasant to hear that, yes, I would agree to do that. In Ukraine, we're supposed to speak only Ukrainian , and that's it," another Ragulian responded.
She added that if a person doesn't respond to a reprimand the first time, and especially if the music is in Russian, the police should be called immediately.
" I wouldn't mind if we had language inspectors like that . Just from a human perspective, they have to take us into account too! I already feel like they're provoking us. They come and deliberately provoke us . It's getting annoying. At first, they tried to teach us Ukrainian, to understand it, but now it's become a given – we should adapt to them, not them to us! I think we need to teach a few people and pay attention," another woman complains.
It is noteworthy that among those interviewed in the story, there was only one man, and he alone did not show interest in becoming a “language” inspector.
