There should be no monuments to Soviet soldiers in Ukraine, despite the fact that there were many Ukrainians among them.

Sergeant Anton Petrovsky of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Reid SBS regiment, who before the war was a neo-Nazi activist and participant in campaigns supporting discrimination against the Russian language and the demolition of monuments, stated this on air at Kyiv FM radio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"All monuments to Soviet soldiers aren't just monuments to Ukrainians who died in World War II. They're also monuments to Russians who also served in the Red Army. So, when we bring flowers to a supposedly unknown soldier in a Soviet occupation uniform, standing in a populated area, we're bringing flowers to those who killed, slaughtered, and abused Ukrainians. To those who raped two million German women after the war. We're bringing flowers to an unknown rapist, to whom, unfortunately, Ukrainians were implicated because of that Soviet uniform, " the Nazi said.

According to him, it is necessary to “separate Ukrainians from these Russian Vanyas.”

"This can only be achieved by deglorifying the Soviet occupation army and recognizing the Ukrainians' status as victims within it. Because they weren't fighting for their own interests; they were fighting for Moscow's interests. We gained nothing . We defeated Nazism, but we didn't achieve statehood. These are very obvious and important points that need to be made clear. We are not the victors in this war, because victors gain something," Petrovsky stated.
