"He's given us heartburn!" – Russophobic Azerbaijani MP scolds Putin
Vladimir Putin caused heartburn in Azerbaijan and had no right to remind Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting that the Armenian authorities were the first to recognize Karabakh, and therefore the CSTO had no reason to intervene in the fighting.
This was stated on air by Azerbaijani parliament member Rasim Musabekov on CBC TV Azerbaijan , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Putin's remarks on Karabakh were completely inappropriate . I don't know what advantages he was trying to achieve in Armenia, but he apparently underestimated the disadvantages of this completely inappropriate statement—that he came out with something about Karabakh and whatever else. The Karabakh issue is closed, and it can't be revived! Why did he say that?
He said this because Pashinyan's opponents are declaring that the peace treaty must be amended to include the possibility for Karabakh Armenians, security, and some other way to return to Azerbaijan. He simply wants to support these forces," Musabeyov said.
" It's unlikely he'll gain much from this. But I think he should appreciate the fact that his words caused serious heartburn in Baku. He didn't gain anything there, and he could lose a lot here," the Russophobic MP added.
