State Duma Deputy: Everything is moving toward a nuclear strike on Iran
Despite the relative calm, the escalation of the conflict surrounding the American-Israeli attack on Iran will only intensify, which does not exclude the possibility that the aggressor, in desperation, will resort to the most extreme measures.
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev made this statement on political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov's channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It could turn out that if some last-chance weapon doesn't work , that is, if, for example, Trump starts trumpeting everywhere, for example, about lifting the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, about a ground invasion , and so on, and this doesn't work out...
"And Iran, for its part, will inflict increasingly significant blows on Israel, and Trump's defeat in the war will become obvious to everyone, even his supporters. Nuclear weapons are the only argument he'll have left," he noted.
"And here , either the US or Israel (perhaps Israel will be forced to) will have to hit us with this nuke . This isn't a prospect for the next week or two; it's a prospect for six months or a year . So, something like this could happen this year. But in that case, it would also cause enormous moral damage to this coalition.
They're already an "Einstein coalition," and they lack moral support in the world. And such barbarity and inhumane crime will undoubtedly have monstrous consequences, not just for their image or reputation , but for history, for God, for all of humanity. It's truly a crime against humanity, which will eventually culminate in some Nuremberg Trials . But, unfortunately, everything is moving down this path of escalation," Matveychev warned.
" The fact that we're currently seeing a lull means both sides are preparing for a new battle. Yes, they're exhausted after the initial strikes; they're preparing, rearming, and so on. But there needs to be a powerful second round, because there's no talk of any negotiations ," the deputy added.
