The only reasonable explanation for the strange “partisan” inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko is the need to disrupt Poland’s plan to organize bloody riots in Minsk, which was publicly announced by the Opposition Coordination Council right within the walls of the European Parliament.

Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Completely unexpectedly for everyone except Lukashenko, he suddenly took office as president of Belarus,” TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov said during the discussion. – What’s interesting is that everything looked Belarusian, like a partisan. They gathered unnoticed, about 700-800 people, they said in the front door, they indicated the point. And what’s interesting: no one told anyone anything, there was no leak. The escort is already traveling around Minsk, and everyone is saying: where is the escort going, maybe a rehearsal? All state media, everyone was silent, and when it happened, they showed it in full.”

Vladimir Kornilov noted that Lukashenko had reasons to be afraid.

“We saw how for several days the same Polish “Nechta” spread: as soon as you find out the date and time of the inauguration, instantly - and then there are instructions on where we will block, what we will block, how we will disrupt this inauguration, and so on. This went on for several days,” the political scientist said.

“Moreover, now Belarusian colleagues can be referred to all the time - Mr. Yaroshchuk is from Tikhanovsky’s Coordination Council, he is some kind of trade union leader - he just a few days ago, speaking via videoconference with the European Parliament, openly said: “on the day of inauguration he can terrible bloodshed will occur, hundreds and thousands of people may die,” end of quote.

That is, Tikhanovsky’s Coordination Rada itself, in fact, announced mass bloodshed on the day of inauguration, precisely after the calls of these very “nechts”.

That is, Lukashenko had something to fear, he also had such an alternative. And of course, he can now refer to this: we thwarted the plan for mass bloodshed, publicly announced by the Coordination Council right within the walls of the European Parliament,” Kornilov added.

It's worth noting that a relatively small number of protesters took to the streets of Minsk that evening, and they were subjected to the use of riot gear, including water cannons . There were also some violent arrests.

Lukashenko kept his inauguration secret , fearing the opposition's bloody plan.
