Lukashenko stood up for Russia before the West
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considers false the claims made in the West that Russia is going to attack Ukraine.
He stated this today at a meeting at the Ministry of Defense, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
“Once again, our “partners,” as they are called in Russia, our rivals, as I said, enemies, are trying to rebuild Russia. That’s why they came up with the thesis that Russia is going to attack Ukraine. If you are going to, put the facts on the table and confirm this thesis,” Lukashenko said.
He believes that the migration crisis that Belarus is experiencing is part of the West’s global attack on Russia.
“Look at the map, and any of you can imagine what is happening around our Belarus. I want those present here to understand one thing: it is impossible to consider the situation around Belarus independently, regardless of what is unfolding in the Black Sea basin, from issues related to Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic countries. We are a link in this common chain.
We do not yet fully know, but we can imagine the plan of our opponents. You can say frankly - our enemies. Overflights of reconnaissance aircraft around the Kaliningrad region have become more frequent. Military events are being carried out in the neighboring states of Belarus - we are already seeing this.
If, as the Russian Minister of Defense states, they fly dozens of planes over Russian borders and practice bombing (it was stated that they are practicing a nuclear strike on Russia), if rolling roads are built in adjacent territories (which the military is well aware of) and mass exercises are conducted with the transfer of additional troops to our border (and there are already tens of thousands of them), it means that this is not in vain, there is something behind it,” Lukashenko said.
