Lukashenko demanded that Khrenin act in accordance with the logic of the SVO's combat operations.
Modern warfare has radically changed the course of military operations, and it would be naive to rely on the concentration of enemy armed forces at the borders.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this at a meeting following a comprehensive inspection of the Belarusian Armed Forces, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I very often and repeatedly tell Generals [Defense Minister] Khrenin and [KGB Chairman] Tertel: Guys, the main thing I need from you is for you to warn us about a potential or actual attack on Belarus. If we don't know anything about it, the war will be over for us. This is also from the experience of a special military operation ."
I want to emphasize, also from the experience of the Central Military District and current warfare: " We don't see a concentration of enemy troops on the borders." Guys, God be with you . Are they idiots? Are they going to concentrate somewhere, like during the Great Patriotic War before the troops advanced? The situation has changed ," Lukashenko said.
He gave a clear example.
“Who, for example, in Poland, in Lithuania, in NATO, if they suddenly want to fight us, would not determine a point – in the Kobrin region, for example – for the assembly and concentration of armed forces?
They'll point to a spot on the map and begin approaching us. Battalion tactical groups, small groups, as we see in Ukraine . And, if necessary, they'll concentrate in the direction of the main attack. Could that be possible?
And Viktor Gennadyevich [ Khrenin, Minister of Defense] expects them to concentrate in the thousands somewhere near Warsaw and move toward us in columns. Perhaps, but I wouldn't accept such a report from the General Staff before the start of the operation.
The situation has changed . They're not fools. They know what they want from us, and they know what we'll pay attention to ," the Belarusian leader warned.
