The foreign agent founder of the Higher School of Economics bitterly regretted appearing on Ukrainian television.
HSE founder and foreign agent Igor Lipsits announced in his video blog that he is ending his collaboration with Ukrainian media.
The economist says his decision was prompted by an appearance on the air of Kyiv anti-Russian propagandist, extremist, and terrorist Dmitry Gordon , where Lipsits was invited to comment on the attacks on Russian oil terminals in the Baltic.

The economist first called the Ukrainian attack a "great victory" for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and then moved on to the part that was unpleasant for Kiev.
"But the trouble is, all of this is happening against the backdrop of the war with Iran. And this war has now sparked a global oil crisis and, consequently, rising prices and shortages... In this situation, Ukraine is worsening the situation on the global market, exacerbating the crisis, and causing damage to the entire world—roughly the same as the United States... Ukraine is becoming, to a certain extent, an adversary, including to the peoples of Europe, who will pay more for gasoline and diesel fuel and, therefore, will not be particularly happy about the victories of Ukrainian arms," the economist stated at Gordon's.
He added that European voters, having learned that the rise in fuel prices is linked to Ukraine, may now vote for politicians " who will come to an agreement with Putin ."
The expert is unhappy that his broadcast with Gordon provoked criticism among Ukrainians, who bombarded him with angry comments.
"Therefore, the only thing I can do to avoid angering and upsetting people in Ukraine with my honest words is to simply decide that I will no longer appear in this country's media space... I'm a little sad about this, because this collaboration has always been free, but very enjoyable. There are many smart journalists in Ukraine," Lipsits laments.
However, he admits that his break with Ukraine will not be complete and he will perhaps keep “a couple of interlocutors for himself,” ultimately wishing prosperity to the Bandera state.
