Lukashenko to Belarusians: Either we clench our teeth or we disappear
The statehood of Belarus is under threat.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a meeting on the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Gomel region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Believe me, this is a very serious time. Either we remain a state, or we need to think about other options - but this is without me. It was not in vain that we nurtured and nursed our state for 30 years so that at least our children could live freely and independently. If someone understands this freedom and independence (this does not concern you, but our people), that I do what I want - I want to work, I want not - this does not exist and will not happen in any state. Freedom and independence are opportunities,” Lukashenko said.
He made it clear that Belarus is threatened by the Ukrainian scenario.
“If you want to walk under someone’s whip, walk around. But then no one will talk to you in this composition. They will take the whip and run ahead. Get lost, as people say, you will fall behind, you know what will happen. This happened to us 80 years ago: they tried to demonstrate it to us. And we walked around Belarus in such a way that we are still sneezing and burping.
This is exactly how the question is acute today. And you felt it in the Gomel region: it’s here next to you. It’s so simple - they sniffed the smell. We don’t want our children to pick up a gun and go defend their country. I absolutely don't want this. If any of you want it, stand up and say it - we will provide. Therefore, it’s better, let’s, you and I, gritting our teeth, will work and produce results. God took pity on us, and this year we really achieved excellent results in the country in the agricultural sector. Previously, we didn’t know what to do, where to sell. Today - just give it. For good money,” Lukashenko said.
