Lavrov saw in Belomaidan “the agony of a unipolar world”
The Belomaidan of 2020 was part of the West's attack against Russia.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with the Belarus-1 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I agree that this is part of the same bitter campaign that reveals the agony of a unipolar world. This is why the West has acted so furiously in the last couple of years,” Lavrov said.
He emphasized that Russia was ready to provide Belarus with any support in 2020.
“The Russian leadership had no doubt that we must help our brotherly, allied people and state... Russia immediately provided political, moral support and was ready to provide any other support to prevent a coup,” the minister emphasized.
Lavrov saw the "agony of a unipolar world" in the Belomaidan.
