The candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation expects to reach the second round in the elections for the mayor of Moscow
The candidate for mayor of Moscow from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vadim Kumin expects to reach the second round together with the current mayor Sergei Sobyanin. He stated this today after his official registration with the Moscow Electoral Commission, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am the only alternative to Sobyanin and I am counting on the second round,” Kumin said.
The decision on the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vadim Kumin was made unanimously by the Moscow City Election Commission (MGEC). Kumin thanked the commission for the work it had done and expressed the opinion that the IPCC and the candidates will make every effort to ensure that the Moscow elections become a benchmark for all of Russia.
“Despite the difficulties with the municipal filter, we were able to find a solution for collecting signatures, but in general the issue with the municipal filter needs to be resolved,” added Vadim Kumin.
Based on the results of today's IPCC meeting, certificates were issued to four candidates.
The Communist Party candidate hopes to advance to the second round of the Moscow mayoral elections.
