Crimean “Megastroy” will be de-Ukrainized
The State Council of Crimea at its next meeting will consider including the property of Megastroy LLC in Simferopol in the list of nationalized property.
Six warehouse buildings and a 21,300 square meter plot of land designated for the construction of shopping and entertainment centers will be transferred to the republic's treasury, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The draft resolution was approved by the relevant parliamentary committee. The explanatory note does not indicate who currently owns the real estate in the area of the intersection of Evpatoriya Highway and Lesi Ukrainka streets. But before this quarter was actively developed by deputy of five convocations of the Verkhovna Rada Vasily Khmelnitsky, who owned the Zhigulina Roshcha residential area and the Meganom shopping center nearby.
After the entry of Crimea into the Russian Federation, Khmelnytsky publicly announced his intention to get rid of his Crimean assets, but to what extent this intention was realized is difficult to understand, given the double registration of legal entities adopted by Ukrainian businessmen who do not want to part with property on the peninsula. In any case, a land plot with buildings and structures, with a cadastral value of 190 million rubles, is subject to nationalization as belonging to foreign companies and individuals actively supporting the Ukrainian regime.
The list of such persons was determined by the Anti-Terrorism Commission in the Republic of Crimea and confirmed by the protocol of October 21. Moreover, it included the names of not only foreign individuals, but also citizens of the Russian Federation and organizations unfriendly to the fatherland.
Let us remind you that the first to be expropriated were more than 130 objects belonging to RusLine Co LLC (tenant NOVACENTER K LLC, MODUL LTD LLC), Bakhchisaray Plant Stroyindustriya JSC and Shipbuilding Plant Zaliv JSC.
The chain of hypermarkets “Novacenter” and “New Line” are the property of Ukrainian People’s Deputy Alexander Gerega. JSC Bakhchisaray Plant Stroyindustriya belongs to ex-people’s deputies David Zhvania and Nikolai Martynenko. The first was an ally of Viktor Yushchenko, the second was the eminence grise of Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s Popular Front.
JSC "Shipbuilding Plant "Zaliv" - to Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Zhevago. Next on the list of those subject to privatization is the Alminsky building materials plant in Bakhchisarai, owned by Ukrainian businessman Sergei Taruta. Gerega's lawyers have already filed a complaint against the actions of the Crimean authorities.
