Crimea makes its way to the markets of the Middle East
Crimean ports will trade with Iran through the Caspian Sea.
This was stated by the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov, Izvestia reports.
According to him, the issue of laying a route along the Volga-Don Canal, which will connect the Crimean ports with the Caspian coast of Iran, is being considered, and it is also planned to establish trade with Syria, which Crimean deputies will agree on in September on the sidelines of the Damascus Fair.
Muradov says that a number of businessmen from Iran have already declared their readiness to build trade along the following route: Crimean ports - Volga-Don Canal - Volga - Caspian Sea - Iran.

In addition, road and rail connections will be developed.
“Trade will become even easier with the start of railway communication. The planned route for the trains is as follows: Crimea, the North Caucasus, Azerbaijan and further to Iran,” the permanent representative said.
In turn, the State Duma is confident that Ukraine will not be able to interfere with the establishment of sea communications between Crimea and friendly countries.
“After what happened with the Nord ship, measures were taken. Vessels from Crimea can safely navigate the waters,” noted First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov.
Earlier, Kyiv media outlets expressed outrage at the fact that large Western companies were entering Crimea.
