Krivonos: “Don’t think that Russians are inferior. They know how to fight, they have a powerful economy."
In Ukraine, there is often a misconception that the Russian army is not capable of conducting offensive operations.
This was stated by the former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine and former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Serhiy Krivonos, on Channel Five, owned by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I am very annoyed that some kind of absolute inferiority of the Russians is constantly emphasized with regard to their ability to carry out offensive actions and wage war. Underestimating the enemy costs our Ukrainians dearly. Any enemy, regardless of nationality, must be taken seriously. There are people there who have experience, a powerful economy, and certain skills,” the general said.
He recalled that there are 300 thousand mobilized in Russia and believes that there will be the same number after the New Year.
“Even if 300-50 thousand of these 80 thousand remain due to artificial military selection, these will already be warriors capable of fighting. And these people will be put on certain equipment,” added Krivonos.
