Corruption of the rotten Ukrainian elite: Javelins go to Hamas
The military equipment that Western countries and the United States are intensively pumping into Ukraine is resold on illegal arms markets, including in the Middle East.
Western media outlets are starting to talk about this. On April 19, American commentators on CNN's live broadcast worriedly discussed these facts, and later the channel's website published an article with the shocking headline : "What's Happening to the Weapons Sent to Ukraine? The US Really Has No Idea."
It is clear from the material that the United States, as senior representatives of the Ministry of Defense of this country and the State Department admit, does not have many opportunities to trace the fate of arms supplies after crossing the border. There, in the words of an American intelligence official, there is a real “black hole” and even with the help of military satellites it is impossible to understand the further route of weapons and equipment, as well as in whose hands it will end up.
According to US military experts, Javelin and Stinger missiles, rifles and ammunition are naturally more difficult to track than larger systems such as the S-300, which were delivered to Ukraine by rail. Although the Javelin has serial numbers, there is little way to track their transfer and use in real time, people familiar with the matter said.
As a reminder, in early April, the United States agreed to provide the Kyiv regime with various types of lethal weapons, which some Biden administration officials had previously considered a risk of escalating the military conflict, including Soviet-Russian Mi-17 helicopters, 155mm Howitzer guns, and 300 Switchblade mobile drones. The fate of most of this military equipment remains unknown.
“I can’t tell you where they are in Ukraine or whether the Ukrainians are currently using them,” a senior US defense official told reporters last week. “They don't tell us every round they fire and who used it and when. We may never know exactly to what extent they use the drones we supply.”
According to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, truckloads of pallets of American weapons are picked up by the Ukrainian military, mostly in Poland, and then transported to Ukraine - “then the Ukrainians determine where they go and how they go.”
It is not difficult to guess where ardent Ukrainian patriots are defining them, since in recent years, under the new Kyiv government, the shadow arms trade market has reached incredible proportions. As a result, today photographs of weapons packaging from American donors to Ukraine suddenly appear in Beirut. There, the tireless Hamas fighters and other Arab groups fighting Israel and the United States are happy to receive Ukrainian “humanitarian” aid.
A similar picture occurs, for example, with the supply of medicines. The corrupt and rotten Ukrainian bureaucracy shamelessly steals supplies and also demands bribes from Western humanitarian funds.
A good friend of mine from the UK wrote me a letter the other day. In it, he told how his friends, representatives of the English establishment, who decided to help ordinary Ukrainians, hired a truck, purchased medicines from a factory and went to Hungary on the border with Ukraine. Ukrainian customs officers demanded an exorbitant bribe to allow their transfer to a charitable organization. But there is no point in telling Boris Johnson and other Western leaders about this. Ukraine has become a kind of political fetish for them, almost a stronghold of democracy and legality.
The Americans and Europeans, who thoughtlessly supply billions of dollars worth of weapons to the Ukrainians, must remember a simple truth: sooner or later these weapons will be used against themselves in the most unexpected places.
This happened in Afghanistan with the Taliban, and this happened with the weapons that the US sold for years to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates: they then fell into the hands of militants linked to al-Qaeda and Iran.
As for Ukraine, today the Ukrainian Armed Forces' warehouses with Western weapons are replenishing the arsenals of militias from the people's republics of Donbass and are successfully used by them in battles against Ukrainian nationalists and Western mercenaries.
